Bodies Without Organs

....is the name of a Europop act masterminded by Alexander Bard, who is also involved with Alcazar, and was instrumental in early 90s europop act ARmy of Lovers.

It is also, as all good theory bitches will know, a concept from Deleuze and Guattari's "Anti-Oedipus".

Alexander Bard should be Barbelith's mascot - he's a bisexual zoroastrian with strong anti-capitalist views. He has bizarre facial hair, is a public intellectual and makes catchy Europop with subtext aplenty.

You can catch the video to their debut single at my blog, along with some links.

What I wanna know, from people who understand Deleuze better than me, is what is this video about? Also: more Bard linkage - the man is extraordinary...

Can't check the video 'cos I'm at work, but I believe the 'Body without organs' was a concept Deleuze borrowed from Antonin Artaud.

I can't watch the video either, but just thought I'd register my agreement that, yes, he does indeed sound like a right-on dude.
