The Lame Lane

Please join me and help make this the most lame thread ever. It has a good start in that it was created by me, easily one of the three lamest people I know. Share with us, if you will, your favorite or least favorite lame comments, ideas, people or animals.

I'll get the lame ball rolling with the story of Buddy, my parent's siamese cat. He was found as a kitten in a ditch after being hit by a car. Now he's the cutest/meanest most friendly three-legged cat you've ever seen in your life. (I'll see if they have any pictures I can post.)

That reminds me of my mother's lame pet-naming skills. 'Lucky' would have been a much better choice.

What if like, the light in your fridge was shared by all the other fridges in the world, right. What if one day everyone but you closed their fridge doors in unison. Would you have like a microscopic sun in your fridge and would that like totally spoil all your food? And would it eventually turn out to be Magneto in disguise? But not?

Doesn't that blow your mind?

This may be so lame that it's actually the coolest thing evar. (Note to future archivists: Link likely will not reflect the cool lameness past its current run.)

The only thing that'd outdo it for me would be "Ice Pirates On Ice"!

Xoc, the tour mentioned on that page is by a friend of mine, thus further enhancing the not lameness.

Mike Read's Oscar Wilde musical closed after one night. That's quite lame...

Oh, me for posting this "new" thread here!

Maybe it is different enough to keep? Ugh.

Someone, slap me out of this mire.

Last night at work, I met a handsome bloke from merry ol' England...London to be exact. He was about thirtysomething and seemed pretty hip. So as I was dancing for him I asked, "Do you like comic books?"

Bloke: "Yes!"
Me: "Do you know who Grant Morrison is?"
Bloke: "Oh yes."
Me: "So let me ask you this..have you ever heard of Barbelith?"
Bloke: puzzled look..."huh?"
Me: Okay, that was a hard one...how about, The Invisibles?
Bloke: "Err..what?"
Me: "You don't know who the hell Grant Morrison is, do you?"
Bloke: "Sure I do. He is the lead singer for The Doors"

Me: *!!!* *puts head in hands*

Why do I bother? Ninny

Ok, this is lame in one respect, but not in another...

I am looking at a Playmobil catalogue, at a police boat with two figures. There is a redheaded police woman figure driving the boat, and I am wondering...why does the brunette behind her, have a moustache?!!

Oh, I figured it out.
