Nice mention in the NY Times for Fluxblog:

"MP3 blogs are a dime a dozen, but it's difficult to find a site that offers consistent material. Matthew Perpetua's "Fluxblog" (www.newflux.blogspot.com) functions as a kind alternate pop universe where the hits are catchier and more obscure than what you find on commercial radio. On any given day you're as likely to hear Japanese noise rock as forgotten soul tracks, all from little-known labels that need the exposure. "Fluxblog" gives you all the benefits of having a music-geek friend without having to listen to him go on and on about some Belgian crunk-techno remix."

I'm in the computer lab at college, and someone's on Fluxblog right now. So, it's actually being used out here in the real world.

Oh hey, thanks everyone.

I'm really glad that you like that Justus Boyz song, cos it seems like no one else did.

Did you read the interview with them on Arjan Writes?

The Justus Boyz are basically the ultimate rockist nightmare:

Combining fashion and music was something that came very naturally to Justus Boyz. "We saw the entire concept in an instant," explains Phil. Mike adds, "It is all about an image and how you feel. Both music and fashion is an expression of yourself. You can say that the fashion has become an extension of our music (. . .) You have to reach in to reach out."

Hey Patrick, what was that person in your computer lab like? Just curious.

He's a film major, "hipster" type I guess. He was wearing pink shoes, and it didn't look that ridiculous. Oh, and he was asking someone if he knew of any other MP3 blogs.
