Farscape: Peacekeeper Wars

I've just finished watching a sly copy of Farscape: Peacekeeper Wars (thanks BBC).
I know ther are a number of Farscape fans here so I won't spoil everything (unless I'm begged to) but it's brilliant. Gives the series a great conclusion, plenty of over-the-top drama and oodles of twists and turns.

Oh and new hairdo's, prosthetics and (hint) weapons...

Now it starts tonight in the states but us English fans will hav to wait until... well to be honest I can't find out when it's going to be shown on the other side of the pond.

Anyone know when I'll get to see it in full colour? (my copy was black and white and still had some VFX unfinished).

Oh, you lucky lucky bastard. I'm off to the torrent sites. I will be buying it when it's available, so I feel no guilt in getting a hooky copy now.

Whereas I had the misfortune of watching the first episode of Hex this evening - my advice is simple avoid. It is very bad.

Just saw the first part. I had such high hopes for this and was totally excited. Everything pointed to the fact that it should have been a complete let down, I'd built it up so much.

I was so wrong. It was better than I imagined. No spoilers now. It was just great. Can't wait for part 2...

I saw it too. It was fantastic. Can't wait for the second part tonight!

The second part is even better.
Although some of the big "set pieces" didn't work at all in black and white.

There's a few things left to be explained, they're allowed to happen because that's what the story dictates despite the fact it goes against three series worth of status quo. Hell it even goes against what was said in the first installment.

Who's the traitor?
Who kicks the can?
Who gets the best jokes?

I just had time to watch half an hour last night, but it looks great. (How on earth do you guys in the US put up with such low TV resolution, though? I've never understood that.) Anyway, best bit so far was John's blackboard message to Harvey. Genius.

Yeah, what rawkusboi said. Part 2 was even better.

To be honest, although I loved the series and thought this mini was superb throughout it does now feel finished and as much as I'll miss Crichton and co I think this is the place to leave it. Anything else probably wouldn't improve on what's gone before anyway so leave it here and finish on a high note.

Marvellous.

It's oddly fitting that it really does have an ending.
Lots of shows cobble together some lame "to be continued possibly" type finale (ahem, Angel, Buffy) but this really does finish the story of the gang on Moia (sp?).
I can see the potential of bringing it back but it would have to be a huge jump in thetimeline, perhaps when ::SPOILER::

the baby is grown up, searching for a way back home to earth.
::END SPOILER::

But the story of John, Erin, Dargo, Pilot, Moia, Rigel and Chiana is definitely (and happily) concluded.

No.

We know how Angel's story ends. Unless we're in denial.

What?
He runs down an alleyway?

Great ending.
All those loose ends tied up nicely

Sorry, can a mod put a spoiler notice in my last post? I wasn't thinking at the time. All the UK viewers probably don't want to know just yet.
