Since 'Mission Accomplished', equipment tagged and sealed by the IAEA as being of "prioliferation significance" has been, um, looted.
Although the IAEA seems to be quite vague about *how* significant this equipment might be, the fact that the US has clearly spent little or no effort securing some of the more obvious sites for hidden WMD/WMD programmes suggests to me that can't have been all that worried about them.
Not that we really need more ammo to shoot down the various WMD claims, but I just can't shake the thought that this shows quite clearly that even Bush/Blair et al didn't believe the hype. Or am I reading too much into this? |
