Pretty much all of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas bears a pretty decent resemblance to many pot-buzzes I've had, as far as the intense paranoia whenever you're in a public venue goes. I've never done that many drugs at once, however. Is it even possible?
There was that scene in the Doors when they all drop acid in the desert and Val Kilmer kept doing that Stevie Wonder thing with his neck. Before I had dropped LSD for the first time, I didn't understand the neck thing. But with my first time on acid, there was this weird sensation in my neck muscles that could only be relieved by twisting my head from side-to-side. Like Stevie Wonder, or Val Kilmer. So that was an interesting little detail. |
