Read Alan Moore and Eddie Campbell's great new comic SNAKES AND LADDERS for a great explication on the famous version of this card (the woman and the snake intertwined). It taught me a lot.

I actually tried to do a more 'traditional' version of the card. I was looking at AM's Promethea tarot issue for inspiration. But I got a bit lazy, I sort of reinterpeted it.

The infinity symbol is representative of the snake/DNA analogy, the whole snale bites its tale, spiral of genetic code loop thing. The triangle represents the woman/world, but more the notion of world. The triangle contains everything, a fractal, a womb of possibility and a reality of actuality.

Perhaps Time (Snake, spiral, loop) combined with Space (triangle) - Our universe...
