Whats up with CMJ?
I have tickets for The Faint / Beep Beep / TV on the Radio show.
I'm also planning on hitting the Looout Showcase, and one or more of the following:
Autodrone at Sin-E Monday NIght (Maybe. It's late on a school night, but they're really good)
Lovedrug, The Bravery, and/or Sea Ray Wednesday Night - I loves me some Sea Ray these days. Really want to see them. And I hear good things about the other bands.
Ted Leo @ The Lookout Showcase Thursday.
Brendan Benson Friday - A friend of mine both swears by him, works in the venue where he's playing, and says he can get me in. So I'll probably show up for this despite never having heard him.
And Saturday I'm seeing The Faint, though Asobi Seksu are also playing and they're great. Plus their name means Sportfuck in Japanese. |
