Basically,I'll be on my way home to the seaside and it'd be good to see people...
Right, as this is short notice and I need to know what's going on tomorrow evening (as that's the only time I'll have net access while I'm in town) I'm not having the usual six page pub choice discussion.
But so as not to be accused of imposing my will on you free spirited revolutionaries and because it's in the spirit of Blind Date, a choice of three easily findable places near Oxford Circus.
In order of (my) preference:
a) The Social, Little Portland Street. Which I I really like and is bloody handy for me tube/bus-wise but I suspect will horrify most likely suspects. Usually (this may be outdated) quiet/a nice break from central london hecticness on weekday eves.
b) The Blue Posts. Most people know where it is, it's a Sam Smith, comfort and familiarity.
c) The Shaston, Ganton Street. A random convenient pub that I haven't been to in years, but which several people I know recommend.
As Our Graham would say...
"Will it be 1,2 or 3?"
Make a decision, I'll be there from half six.
If no-one fancies it, I'll sit and read Albert Camus and look soulful. |
