Looking for any references for these symbols

Can anyone tell me what symbols correspond best with the symbols around the pentagram in this picture? They're on the Vampire Alucard's glove in the Anime/Manga Hellsing.

Aside from being a lot more out of the bedroom nowadays, my Magick is also deeply in fiction, my own and other works, and this picture really hits me as having reference to deeper meanings, so i'm hoping to add meaning to it by sussing these symbols. The story as far as i know it is pretty deep with occult ideas, i'm hoping to add to my knowledge of it by getting one of the DVD's in town today, whilst also hoping to further my bond with the city spirits.

The bottom one might be kanji related; it looks close to an early form of the kanji for the pronoun "I".

Get all four dvds, Hellsing is incredible.

As for the gloves, I don't know much. I agree that the symbol on bottom looks like kanji (for person I think). One theory is the five symbols represent van Hellsing and the other 4 who subdued Alucard.
There's also some symbolism to the eyes (window to the soul and whatnot) especially how he turns into basically a dark cloud of eyes when he's pissed/having fun and his dogform/avatar thing with six eyes.
Hope that helps atleast a little.

Again, get the whole series, it is WELL worth the price.

The "script" around the edge of the circle is somewhat reminiscient of so-called Theban script - said to derive from the Grimoire of Honorius.

"Gott Mit Uns" - God is with us (?) was, I seem to recall, inscribed on the belt-buckles of German infantrymen during the First World War.

Awesome, thanks a lot for the help, that's brilliant. I didn't get a Hellsing DVD today because to my shock they where 20 quid each and i only had fifteen, but i'm determined to get them all, starting this saturday when i'll get some more cash.

Got Mit Uns is indeed a belt-buckle thing, AoG - it appears on belt buckles in both the First and Second, around an eagle in the First and a swastika in the Second.

The characters around the edge reminded me a bit of astrological symbols, but they seem to be a bit generic, and the Theban alphabet seems to be a better match.

The upper right sector symbol seems to be a capital "psi", and the upper left sector symbol possibly a version of a capital "ksi" - both characters from the Greek alphbet. In this image, they are upside down. The character in the bottom sector may be a lowercase "pi", but with what appears to be a nikkud, but isn't. The other two look familiar...

The outer edge is definitely Thebian, though there are a few characters in there I don't recognize. The rest I'm not too sure of. Will have to consult my dusty tomes when I get home.

Tangently, check Witch Hunter Robin for another good occulty anime. Special features on the DVDs include details fo the occulty bits used in the episode, like a primer on Ogham.

The inside part looks an awful lot (if not exactly) like the NAR alphabet of primordial elements, developed by Michael Skrtic, as part of his magical system of which I know enough to know I don't know anything. The alphabet and a synopsis of NAR is in The Magician's Reflection by Bill Whitcomb.
