Ask her out anyway.

Is it worth getting dressed today, or should I just stay in my jim-jams?

I hope you were able to make that decision Rendelf.
If not GET DRESSED!

Meet up with him on Tuesday or just not bother?

Soldier on at work or creep off home to nurse second-day-of-hangover in private?

I figure you did the hard bit when you got out of bed, dressed and journeyed to your place of employment. Now is the time to take the punishment, repeating to yourself at regular intervals that pleasure is bad, and this is your rightful reward. And lets face it, might as well get paid for feeling like shit, its not like you're gonna get anything useful done when you get home......

Firm but fair. I shall stay. Plus, I think sickness on buses is probably worse than sickness in the office.

I hope you came to a decision on your own, alas, for I think I'm too late to help.

So, people of Barbelith, having little to no details of the situation, what do you say? Should I make the effort to be friends with my new ex, or just tell her to piss off and be done with it?

Be friends, but don't do anything with her for a few weeks.

grant's right. Think of your future: sane people like people who manage good break ups. If a potential future lover gets a whiff of a trail of corpses, relationships gone explosive and rotting on the wayside, it doesn't bode well for getting involved with you.

(and as to my dilemma, it's never too late, as the dilemma is ongoing. And usually answered, in my case, with "both.")

Should I buy the Firefly boxed set?

I´ve blindbought it, after I saw Serenity. I would not buy it again.

Reasons:
- River most of the time doesn´t do much, and appears to be quite helpless instead of the amazing bundle of psychowarrior in Serenity.

- I didn´t really understand from Serenity that Firefly is a western! Yes, it looks like science fiction, but it´s not. And I don´t like western at all.

=> don´t buy it. Rent it first.
