So theres been so much in the press about The Jackson case and Observer music monthly ran a really fucked up interview with R Kelly last week- what will be the out come- are they guilty?
I found the R kelly stuff really disturbing - in the interview he seemed to be both denying anything to do with it and kept talking about his regrets- the voice of a troubled mind?
Also disturbing I just read the legendary Led Zepplin biog Hammer of the Gods- Jimmy Page had a long running affair with a 14 year old through the height of their success- is this any different, it seems he's celebrated in hindsight as a naughty rock star: a kind of 'if you can get it..' mentalitity- How is this different from R Kelly - should Page's past be looked into as happened with Gary Glitter?
Is this a witch hunt or are these people out of control...
How old is R kelly? is he an unlucky rock star or a dangerous man? surely rockstars have been humping 14 year olds since the dawn of time sir Mick Jagger & a very little Marianne Faithful spring to mind as well..
thoughts please

R Kelly is a bad man because the only thing he's given the world is that fucking 'freaking weekend' song.

Michael Jackson is... Michael Jackson. C'mon people. MICHAEL JACKSON.

I think the most obvious observation is that when this kind of thing comes to light, people will usually make a judgment that is very heavily influenced by their opinion of the artist in question's work. You could argue that that's fucked up, but it's also inevitable...

As I said.... MICHAEL JACKSON.
The man danced on a car outside his own court hearing.

Didn't one of the Rolling Stones basically destroy a young (underaged) girl's health during an affair? It's in Rock and Roll Babylon, if anyone has a copy to hand.

For those of you that are interested here is the R kelly interview in The Observer
Pretty bizarre stuff? and definitely a troubled mind..

Yeah the stones thing: Mandy smith married Bill Wyman when she was 18- although they met and he left his wife for her when she was just 13- he was a noncetastic 47! just to add to the mix of responsable parenting Mandys Mother, Patsy went on to marry Bills son from his first marriage; Stephen.

Where the fuck were social services?

On the Jackson front here's a pretty good link
whether he's guilty or not the guy is clearly a twat- I also wonder the motivations of the current accusers parents- come on the guy was the centre of the biggest pay off for supposed kiddie fiddling then suddenly- 8-9 years later:

"Hey little Jimmy your mother and me are going out of town for a week, its ok you can go stay over with the weird, rich, single pop star with a thing for pre pubescent boys and Monkeys"

someone get pally with Macaully Culkin- then we'll get the real low down..

Also earth song on the Brits- and Jarvis spent the night in the nick??!?!!

He should have surely gone down for crimes against taste and decency.

Too much power, too much power..

"I'm not like other guys.."

Which, of course, means that Stephen Wyman is his own grandpa.
