Hello all. I think this is probably a shameless plug, but I'm going to claim it's a public service announcement.
The Trashcan Sinatras, who some of you may be fans of, some may recall hazily as "That Scottish band that sound like Aztec Camera, I thought they had split up...", and others may have not have heard of, have a new album out. Already available in the US, it's released here on their own label Picnic Records (which apparently narrowly won out over "lazy bastard media" and "bankruptcy recordings") and it's called Weightlifting. Should be in the shops October 18th. I love them, and always have. I've heard most of the tracks already and they are very very very good. Also on iTunes, apparently, not that I have anything to do with the pod people. If anyone cares, there is a site at http://trashcansinatras.com/
