I feel strangely emotionally displaced, swinging from "just feeling weird" to "about to burst out crying" in the space of an hour or so. Physically quite grounded, but with a bubbling in my stomach that has been there for some time.

I also feel like I'm waiting for something to happen, and have been for a while.

Having recently read "The Filth" seemed to intensify these earlier-mentioned "weird" feelings. Hm.

Pissed off that an offhand addition to a comics thread got patronised. *Why don't you tell us how you think when you've **really** though about it?*

There seems to be something wrong with one of my eyes, slightly strained feeling in the left temple, focus not perfect, that type of thing, and while it's prbably something to do with spending all my time lately either reading or staring at a computer screen, it's still a bit worrying. I must hie me to the optician, I guess. Apart from that though, fine.

Excited and hyper. Due to:

a) getting an email from a hostel in Berlin saying they'll contact me in the new couple of weeks about a possible 6-month internship, and

b) starting a new job today where I'll be paid too much money to learn how to be a blacksmith, tinsmith, leather-worker, miller, cooper, broom-maker, printing press operator, carpenter, and wood-chopper.

Wee! Woo!

I am feeling a bit drunk right now. It could have something to do with the seven beers I have put away in the last hour.

Damn Baz, that is cool. I would be feeling a bit excited if I were going to apprentice to learn all of that. I have a bit of experience as a welder, tinsmith, carpenter, press-operator (not the printing type), and a wood-chopper.

Oh, Alex, my eyes used to do that before I got LASIK. I don't know if that is an option for you, but it has been some of the best money I ever spent. Now they only do that when a migraine is imminent.

Ha! I know what you mean, i read it myself a couple of weeks ago. Don't worry about it, you'll be fine.

I've got cold, have my sleeping hours the wrong way around and feel a bit drained, but i should be ok tommorrow. I just thought of something really gross to say but i'll spare you all. PM me if you wanna know what i was going to say, but you'll only regret it.

Had a meeting last night about some possible teaching work, which became a drink (I haven't drunk for a while) so feeling a bit wobbly now that it's five twenty and I'm up for the days work in the dark - cold, dark.

But not long until I'm off to see my lady in LA, so all else pale's....

Somehow I find your feeling "a bit wobbly" entirely appropriate, Benny the Ball...

Have fun seeing your gal in the City of Angels!

I'm feeling really pissy and arrogant and somewhat "orange".

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK

I'm in weirdspace right now.
I got my beloved dog's ashes back from the vet this morning. I just went round to my ex-flatmate's (who I moved away from for a very good reason- we were about to kill each other) for dinner. Okay, I spent most of the evening talking to her dog (who was one of my dear dead dog's best friends), but, even that aside, it was a lovely evening. For the first time in a fortnight, I got to sit and get drunk and make a big fuss of a dog. It was nice. But sad, too.

Oh Stoatie!

I'm like, kinda' trashed right now. Was out drinking for most of the night, and figured I'd do something I never do, which is post while loaded. 'Cause, like, I'm all "why not"?
