IPod Mini Sold Out Everywhere In The UK

Dammit, I finally decide to get one of these bastard little things and they're sold out everywhere!

Has anyone seen any still being sold in London? When I was there a few weeks ago, it seemed like many places still had them.

Anybody got one, or an iPod for that matter? Like it? Love it? Couldn't live without it?

I think you'll struggle to find one, Source. As far as I know, nowhere in London has them in stock - and those that are taking orders warn of a 4 - 6 week wait.
If you can't wait that long, I'd suggest either eBay where they seem to go for about £200, the Amazon zShop or similar. Otherwise, join the queue matey.

Have they opened the Apple Store in London yet or are they waiting until I get back?

I have an iPod. Remember that feeling when you first started ripping CDs onto your computer, and suddenly realised you could listen to anything, at any time, in any order, without having to dig out the CD and put it on? It's a bit like that feeling, but even more so since obviously when you were out and about beforehand you didn't even have the option of digging out the CD.

I'm not sure I'd buy a Mini though. They're cute, but four gig really isn't as much as it sounds.

Arse... - £250? Methinks not. Might as well buy a regular iPod for that.

I'll have a scour around London and see what I can find.

i have a regular ipod and it's great. But I have to agree that even a relatively modest music collection is going to be in excess of 4Gig if only converted to MP3 format. And surely the whole point of having an ipod is having ALL your music with you at all times...
