HUMAN TARGET #17
Written by Peter Milligan
Art by Cameron Stewart
Cover by John Watkiss

First Grant and now Peter. Start writing for Moore and we will be sick.

Well done BTW.

Now this i am really looking forward to, over and above how much I already look forward to each new issue of Human Target, obviously

I've wanted to work with Milligan for almost as long as I've wanted to work with Morrison, and you correctly identified the third of my "Three M's" (but I think that one's gonna be a bit trickier to pull off).

When I wrapped Seaguy my editor Karen asked what I was interested in doing next. Since "more Seaguy, please!" wasn't an option, I threw out "um, how about...Human Target..?" not actually expecting to have her agree. She asked Milligan if he'd be interested in writing a one-issue story for me, and Cliff Chiang if he would like a month off, and voila, we have issue 17.

I'm halfway through it now, it's a cool little story.

Christopher Chance needs very much to have a floating fish chum.

Just add it after Milligan's signed off the art. He'll thank you for it later.

Bullseye the Bass. Like it.

But no, this is nice news in a world that is full of not-nice news.

Cameron, I know a lot of folks are unlikely to agree with my opinion, but I think you're just too good for the Moore named Alan. You just don't need him dragging you down. So there.

Well done!

It's a sort of grand tour of the comics world really, who else is left on that list of yours so we can get some positive waves going your way

I can imagine Cameron being a good fit for poor underrated Mark Waid.

Start writing for Moore

Yeah, that's not such a bad idea!

I can imagine Cameron being a good fit for poor underrated Mark Waid.

He'd fit Cameron's schema better if he changed his name to Mark Maid, though...

Or perhaps Milk Maid. Yes, I can see it now, a tale of rape and domestic violence named after the author - the Milk Maid Murders anyone?
