I've wanted to work with Milligan for almost as long as I've wanted to work with Morrison, and you correctly identified the third of my "Three M's" (but I think that one's gonna be a bit trickier to pull off).
When I wrapped Seaguy my editor Karen asked what I was interested in doing next. Since "more Seaguy, please!" wasn't an option, I threw out "um, how about...Human Target..?" not actually expecting to have her agree. She asked Milligan if he'd be interested in writing a one-issue story for me, and Cliff Chiang if he would like a month off, and voila, we have issue 17.
I'm halfway through it now, it's a cool little story. |
