Is anyone listening to them?
The new album came out a few days ago and it's interesting: I hate the title track, and the single they played on Conan O'Brian is a horrible, horrible Strokes ripoff. The rest of the album, though, is great. Dancey and shallow and brilliant.
Deal is, between this album and the one before, they added a second percussionist (whose talents include beaning audience members in the head with tambourines) - they released the single Dance to the Underground with the line-up on this album, and the new sound is so very very much better than the old one. |
