I've been saying i'd post some art here for a while, so here it is :

I could of made it better but i wanted to move on to something else. It's a bit naff but i hope to improve with practise. I hope to look back and laugh at this in a few months having got better at it.

Are you thinking of inking it?

No but now you've said it i am. I think i'd prefer to keep it like it is for now and then possibly do it in the future.

If the pencil lines are strong enough you can photocopy it and have a practice. Alternatively tracing paper works, although it doesn't take ink as well as cartridge paper. Seriously, inking brings comic art to life in my experience, and will give you increased confidence.

Yeah i see what you mean, i did the lines in heavily on the demons face in the bottom panel of the third page and i can see how it brings it to life a lot more.

I'll maybe get a pen to ink with and give it a go. Cheers for the advice.

Rotring pen's are nice, but any fibre tip pen will give good results, but brushes really are the bee's knees. It took me ages to get the confidence to use them, but again it is worth it. Or mix it up however you want - comic pro's often use anything and everything to get the desired results.

Thanks, i'll get pen to start with and practise on some sketches. Using a brush sounds mad too, i'd love to give it a try sometime if it gives better results.
