Hey, Brightoners - fancy a night of psychedelic rock?
wherestheheads (lord nuneaton savage and my good self) are putting on a night of psyched-out sounds on Tuesday 17th August at The Freebutt. The night will feature newly-reformed British psych rockers Sun Dial and the final live appearance of Brighton's legendary Yeti (his lordship's mighty drone combo), who have promised us a Viking funeral of a send off. And I'll be DJing.
All this takes place between 8.30 and kicking out time, and costs £4 on the door.

Check our website for further details, map, etc.

Well, I would come if I did not live in London. Buuuuuttt, I may try and combine the next one of these with some Brighton related action.

Oh this is tonight isn't it? Oddly enough, I'm busy [got a meeting with my own groovy / improv / free / drone band!] We're playing upstairs at the HobGob on saturday nite if anyone's free?? Break some legs / eardrums.

Most enjoyable. I only caught Yeti, though, as I was with someone who was really moany and annoying, and had to go home early. Really loved it -kind of English psychedelia with occassional hurricane guitars. The singer looked great, with dirty blond mopptop and Salvador Dali moustache, mad staring eyes - a Victorian villain accidentally recruited to the Verve. And the guitarist was making all sorts of weird faces to match what he was playing. There was obviously a bit of in-joke humour going on but I was still pissing myself by the end of the set - jolly good, i would say

And our last ever gig as well. Glad you enjoyed it Meme keep your eyes peeled for future Wherestheheads events.

I knew I should have washed my 'Dirty blonde moptop' that day.
