Hey book readers. I'm currently reading Carlucci's Heart, by Richard Paul Russo. It's pretty darn good. Set in a gritty future San Fransisco, it's a cross between cyberpunk and detective novel; however, it uses very little in the way of fancy techno devices, but relies more upon the cyberpunk feel of a distopian future. I'm finding it to be a page turner for sure.
I read another of his books--Destroying Angel--many years ago, and recall it being good, but my memory being what it is, I don't remember so much about it.
Anyone else read anything by this writer, and if so, what did you think? |
