Arhus?

Hey Team B,

I am going to be in Arhus, capital of Jutland and Denmark's second largest city, for three weeks in August. Apparently a thriving University town. Does anyone have any insider info?

I'm going to be working during the day but will have weekends and, hopefully, evenings free. I'm looking for cool things to do at night and also cool day trips away. iIs it worthwhile heading down to Germany or would that be a bit far? Where is good striking distance? What is the nighlife like in Denmark? As expensive as everyone says?

The only thing I know about Aarhus is that they dug up a superbly preserved Bogman there. Don't know if he's still there on display.

Shit. Is it spelt Arhus or Aarhus? Cos on my flights and stuff I have one spelling with Arhus with an accent over the A and another with Aarhus without accent...

I *think* it's Aarhus, but the double A might mean that it's A with a funny accent. The quickest of Googles suggests that there is a Bogman in the Moesgard (circle accent over the A) Museum in Aarhus.

Never been to Jylland but been to other bits of Denmark. I expect the huge University must bring some nightlife in its wake that will be as expensive as everything else in Denmark. Horrible memories of raw fish and acquavit and viking drinking songs. And all the men are ten feet tall. Nice enough, though.
