When I was in Barcelona last month I happened to attend a number of crustie parties with soundsystems on the back of a truck, unwashed fucked people, dogs, all the usual.
I've not done this for a good few years. But blow me if the music hasn't changed a jot!
Breakneck stompy techno beats, squiggly acid lines and "doomy" samples. It is literally exactly the same as 1996. And they're still playing that fucking "drugs, sex and pounding techno music" record.
So I propose we help the crusties find something new to listen to. After all it must be boring listening to the same thing for 8 years.
What would you suggest crusties play at their parties? |
