This looks so awesome. This is the stuff i love to see ellis write..... alien incursions, global threats and the people who
have to deal with these situations. Should be fun to see him mess with the ultimate universe protagonists.

I was kinda missing Ellis's Authority. Even though I loved Millar's run, Ellis's run was my favorite. So you can bet your arses I'm gonna love this book.
However, I'm kinda sad this is his "year of whoredom", 'cuse I usually like him better when he's writing whatever he wants.

Meh. Looks like he threw "The Ring" and certain episodes of "X-Files" into a blender shaped like Galactus. Because of course that's what this is likely to be. I remain unimpressed.

Getting the build up to his *coming* right, but Galactus should be waaaaaaaaaay weird as well as super big armageddon scary. Galactus as Astro-God is where it's at. As you get closer to that armour, the angles go all kirby-verse and sickening.....

Anyone remember that fucked up What if? where the Four take a trip inside Galactus's head. Freaky stuff.

if it is Ultimate Galactus, it should be the biggest, freakiest thing the Ultimate-verse has ever seen. personally, i'd like more build-up and foreshadowing before they tackle the Big G.

Yeah, it rips off a lot of stuff. But it does it right.

Someone on another board suggested those things were D'Bari, hence ULTIMATE DARK PHOENIX!!!!1 or something. Be interesting to see a good vs corrupted phoenix fight.
