So. I was looking through my moms old records and found some cool stuff:
Tommy, by The Who
Sgt. Pepper's LHCB, The Beatles
Road to Ruin, The Ramones
Sadinista!, The Clash
A whole bunch of Jimmy Buffett
A bunch of Rolling Stones
Some B-52's (for extra hardcoreness)
A smattering of Grateful Dead

The teenager requires futher VINYL!

Records of mine that I've disinterred from the crates recently:

Several albums by Weather Report whose names I can't remember.

Best of Roland Rahsaan Kirk

The Winners - "Get ready for the future"

The Patrick Cowley mix of Donna Summer's "I feel love"

Recently rediscovered due to acquiring a record deck for the first time in years:

Skinny Puppy- the track "Assimilate". Truly awesome, and the soundtrack to my amphetamine-riddled youth.

Danielle Dax- specifically the album "Inky Bloaters" and the track "Big Hollow Man".

The collected works of Creaming Jesus and Cop Shoot Cop.

And of course, as mentioned on another thread, Alec Empire vs Elvis Presley.

You clearly have a fairly rocking mum, Flufatacus!

Despite the fact that both my parents musical taste errs toward the slightly dodgy, I've still dug up some astonishing stuff gathering dust underneath the old hi-fi.

For my dad's copy of "Johnny Cash at San Quentin" and my mum's Pentangle and Miles Davis LPs, I am particularly thankful.
