I'll be the guy with the handlebar moustache and the monocle, what, what?
When is good, VK, I understand you can't do where, due to your compelte lack of knowledge of this hemisphere. So "when" and we shall make suggestions as to the where bit....
The Intrepid Fox is very rock if you like that sort of thing. But it is crowded, and difficult to have a chat in.... but they do have huge gothatic metal skeletons and the like hanging all over the place....
I'm scratching my head trying to think of somewhere exactly suitable....
The Foundry would be a good place - a suitable ridiculous venue, good inro to hipster London, which almost no one on Barbelith fits into. I assume the Cro bar is kind of metal....
31st July would be vastly better for me than any other time in the rest of this month because then I will have been paid. And actually have money. Unlike now.
Depending upon whether my Loud relatives descend upon me that weekend or not (which depends entirely upon whether they remember to call me), I can actually make Saturday 31st July. And I love The Foundry. Sweet.
I think I'll be working on the night of the 31st... but the Foundry IS in walking distance of my workplace, so I may just try to get up early and go to the pub first! (I'm sure I'll manage it...)
BTW, VK... if you're now a Kustom Kar Kommando, does that also mean that you're she she can she can? A Puerto Rican rocket baby, fast as fast she can? Because if so, we have a FRIGHTENING amount of the same records.
Not able to make the 31st having foolishly decided to spend the night cycling 120 miles to the beach. However, if you're up for another eveing while you're in town then I could try for that.
an amalgamation of the Rev Ian Paisley and Brian Blessed,
I would pay good money to see this. Then again it might dredge up unpleasant memories of meeting Ian 'Ice-cream Sundays' Paisley. Oh to live in London for a change...
Will someone pleeeeeeease text or phone me with the details when something is organised? Because I'm not gonna be online again before Saturday, and I would quite like to come.
