Tricky... I'd be happier if MsCirmish had contributed anytihng to Barbelith before this ad... deletey? Although if a bunch of students want to lark around the heavy traffic and no-nonsense residents of East London with supersoakers, I and Darwin sya YAY!
"Do not hit anyone apart from your target. This may count as assault in the eyes of the law. If it does not, the point where your kidneys are forced into your scrotum shortly thereafter almost certainly will."
Damn, I guess it does read like spam... too long in marketing.
The last time I posted on Barbelith was a couple of years ago. This is something some friends and I are doing on a Saturday afternoon and I thought some of you might be up for it. It will be a fun way to spend a couple of hours.
Am I spamming Barbelith by telling you about some stuff I'm doing which someone might want to join?
But it's not intended as spamming. I guess I'm excited that I'm doing something and wanted to tell you about it. No one here knows me, nor have I ever given anyone here the chance to get to know me.
My last posting came at an interesting time.

I was really inspired. I'd just started playing with media again. Memefeeder was started by Rana and I and we've been doing stuff ever since.
I have never really contributed to this community. I guess that could be an example of me being self serving and impatient. Possibly taking more than I give, but not in a way ever intended to cause harm.
I broke up with my boyfriend yesterday and he pointed out those attributes as well.
The last time I posted was when Rana and I were making the Memefeeder film. A small community existed to make the film and then we kind of dispersed. I guess I'm realising why.
I'm based in East London and would like to begin to participate in this community. Offline I hang out mainly with Australians and English computer people and some peeps working in normal professions who I think should be professional artists. I have fun and enjoy cycling and electronica.
I don't believe I've actually gone about it in the right way, but I'd like to belong here.
Dude, just chill, and hang. Pop over to the Conversation, maybe chat there. If you like electronica, wander over tot he Music forum. There's a lot to talk about, and a lot of people to talk with - you'll get the hang in no time.
