A bit about why Grant dropped "Demon", from Lying in the Gutters :

...and state that he dropped the Demon character as it strayed too far from Jack Kirby's character.
However, I'm told that the Demon was dropped, after Morrison's treatment went deep into Catholic dogma, theology and theory.

Apparently DC doesn't like to fuck with the Pope.

Also this:
Oh, and "Arkham Asylum" 15th Anniversary Hardcover out in October with about 90 pages of extras. Hurrah!

the DC solicits for the AA hardcover say this:

>> In celebration of the 15th anniversary of the critically acclaimed Batman story that helped launch the U.S. careers of Grant Morrison and Dave McKean, DC Comics is proud to present the Arkham Asylum 15th Anniversary Edition --- a 216-page hardcover reprinting the now-classic confrontation between the Dark Knight and his archnemeses the Joker, Two-Face, Scarecrow, Poison Ivy, and more in the black heart of Gotham City's house for the criminally insane.

But Poison Ivy isn't really in it, is she? from what I recall... maybe she gets a tiny paragraph in the very end blurbs at most, right...?
