Subgenius X-Day this weekend and the first Subgenius Beach Party in, well, ages. Big bash is Sunday night at Concorde 2 (entry £5), but there are workshops on making cheap films and crop circles and other activities. Except last year in Valencia. SMS me from tomorrow afternoon if you want to hook up.

It's a first for me at Brighton; closest I got was Lewes last Bonfire Night.

Had to leave early so I missed the big Devival. No saucers arrived today, but I did visit the Holy Temple of Slack, near the big Noah's Ark church and later had the best fish & chips on the planet at Bardsley's (since 1926). They're fried slack! Also great Jamaican jerk lamb at the Prince Albert on Sunday. Never made it to the pier

I went down to Brighton, but planned on spending the day sitting on the beach reading before the SubG thing. Unfortunately it pissed it down with rain, so by about 7 I'd run out of money sitting in the pub and came back to London.

Ah well. Next time. Sorry I missed ya!
