I always loved Nexus, both the art and the writing. Though the press release below doesn't give any details, I hope they reprint the whole run!

RUDE: DH TO PUBLISH NEXUS AS TRADES

According to Steve Rude's most recent e-mailer, Dark Horse comics will be reprinting his and Mike Baron's Nexus as a series of trade paperbacks. No further specifics were given.

Nexus first saw print from Capital Comics in 1981. Created by Baron and Ruse, the series was set 500 years int he future, and starred a man tortured with dreams of mass murderers. Granted the power of "fusion casting" by a seemingly benevolent alien, Nexus' dreams grew in intensity until he was compelled to kill the subject of his dreams.

After its run at Captial, Nexus landed at First Comics, where it was published for 80 issues. Following the demise of First, Baron and Rude were two of the lucky creators who were able to wrest control of their creation from the dead publisher through a legal battle and payment, the result fo which landed it at Dark Horse.

Since then, the property has seen spordaic one shots and miniseries through Dark Horse.

Steve Rude just announced he's going to self-publish more Nexus, presumably written by Mike Baron. Yay!
