Besides, there'll already be millions of Christians across the globe who will be praying that he doesn't get in for the second term, so our magic will be a drop in the goodwill ocean.
Still, wouldn't that be a matter of balance? Who's work is the most backed by skill, combined with how many persons are working?
I say go to the source, to what's receiving their prayers (it'll be a lot more interesting, at least). After all, I highly doubt that God is a Republican: they only see Hir as such because Ze's been passed through their belief and perceptual filters. Why don't we ask what their God wants?
Hmmmm. The one problem with that, IMO, is the fact that the Christian god may not be in any way unified, but could be a conglomerate of aspects. When I look at Christians, it seems that many of them are praying to very different aspects of their diety. Who's to say that we would be talking to the one that they are hooking into? Of course that gets into the nature of deity itself. |
