Well, as once again my copy of Time Out becomes draw-lining without guiding me to anything beyond the knowledge, too late to order tickets, that the Magnetic Fields were in town (Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrbollocks!), I figured maybe Tuesday might be a good moment to slide under the radar and do a bit of venching.
From a brief perusal, I notice that Boston-based electropop band Certainly Sir are playing a free show at the Vibe Bar, and that those sticky, sticky fellows at the Poetry Cafe are doing an open mic reading, often good for a giggle (£3.50 cover). Anyone fancy either of these? Or a swift pint, failing that? |
