So what do we think of this approach?

And now a reminder: could parents please keep their children from playing in the generic sci-fi quarry at the end of the campsite. We think the bloke with the scarf might be a noncer. If they do find themselves in the generic sci-fi quarry, we strongly suggest they not seek help in the Police call box, or they might end up bigger on the inside than the outside.

So what do we think of this approach?#

Do you really want me to answer that question?

I think it's alright, to be honest as long as the convo doesn't become clogged up (unlikely). It has caused me to check out a few threads I wouldn't have otherwise. However, I don't think it's essential. If you want something like this as a regualr feature of the board, Spyder, you should start a thread in Policy. Don't know how successful you would be though - I think Tom's initial rationale for taken away the visibility of active topics from outside the fora was to encourage people to dive in and check them out.
