How do YOU launch your Servitors?

just wondering.....how (if you choose to share) do YOU bring your Servitors into existence/ fire them off/ start them working etc

I have a lovely little entity that I want to send out working for me and I have numerous options floating around my head but I am open to new and your tried and tested methods that might be better than the methods I am currently considering for his launch

I read the airburst technique (was it Phil Hine?) or how you can 'Sigilise' the name of the Servitor and launch the Sigil

But I am interested in them most novel and EFFECTIVE ways that you have done this. I am mostly interested in hearing how you have launched successful Servitors and the methodology employed when you have been CONVINCED that the Servitor is working well as a result of your launching technique

thanks in anticipation of your responses

hrm.

i suppose you can count me in on this too... it's the launching that get's me all buggered up i guess. i guess i didn't know there was a 'launching' process.

i guess i thought it was something that you just did. you just launched it... like a rocket, or anything else (depending on it's purpose).

i guess i've always taken a vary indirect approach... meet/make a friend, and then let'm go do their thing (your thing, etc.).

i've had plenty o' success with the no-method method... i guess it's my method. (chaoooooooo - te)

just work it like you need it girl.

I've found some success with this technique using the energy paradigm: construct the servitor from energy by breathing in the energy and then exhale it through your arms, out your hands, and into the shape of the servitor. Keep doing this until you've formed the servitor. Then trace the sigil onto the servitor and start breathing Akasha into it, thus giving it life. By the time you start breathing Akasha you will have hyperventilated for a few minutes and thus will hopefully have achieved gnosis.

thanks folks

I don't fancy the hyperventilating bit but if all else fails I might give it a go (I have a problem about overbreathing, I gave up on a proposed Re-birthing therapy session due to fears about this......sorry for being such a wimp)

thanks for the info so far...........much appreciated

I have a way that I do it, but I'm not going to tell.

Not because I'm a rude prick who doesn't like sharing, but because recently (like in the last 6 months) I've discovered that the real strength in ritual is personalising it.

I'd suggest reading as much as you can about servitors, and taking bits that make sense, and discarding the shit (and there is a lot of it).

No prescribed ritual is going to be as good as one you have created personally.

No that's cool thanks

I totally understand what you are saying and I admit that I have read that if you personalise something, you do indeed add it more power so I don't for one minute think you are being rude

I usually put a proviso in my posts that people should share only what they feel comfortable sharing so don't worry

I actually think that though this entity I have created has had a bit of a mish mash of a beginning , he is already formed and is already starting to jiggle reality somewhat

Nothing major to date but little coincedences that can easily be explained away but I prefer to think he is on the case

Thanks to you all for your advice and even your apologies

I love this site, it has taught me so much already

That's the best way to personalise! Fire a few duds, scrap em, and learn. Keep a journal of your mistakes and all will be peachy.

Since last post, I've thought of something I could usefully say - I've found that the more detail you include with the servitor (especially when dealing with a physical symbol) the more power you give the servitor. I especially like cutting up pictures of stuff, but thats just me.

You are quite a lovely polite entity aren't ya? Nice to see in this world of post-modern "meh".

we can rape the world, be absolute bastards and yet still maintain a modicum of decorum and impeccable manners

Truthfully and as honest as I can be .....I am a coward by nature and want people to like me and as much as I said that .....I genuinely am in awe of other people's knowledge and bravery in attempting things I am too cowardly to attemtpt myself...........therefore people on Barbelith who have done things I am too cowardly to strive for myself have my utmost admiration

thanks for your kind words
