Great fun when you don't have to make your vote count, tactically. Hence my dilemma over whether or not to cast a second viote in the election tomorrow for London mayor, what with Norris coming so close in the polls.

Kucinic for sure.

It really does check to see whether you're in the US or not.

Seems a bit unfair though considering I don't get to vote in US elections. What about us disenfranchised indentured servants? No taxation without representation!

Hey Xoc - as I understand the voting system, then if you're putting Ken as your first choice, not putting or putting a second choice doesn't make any difference as long as you don't make it Norris (obviously). What happens is that if one of the candidates gets more than half the first choice votes, they automatically win. But if nobody gets more than half the first choice votes, whoever has the most second choice votes (out of the two candidates with the most first votes) wins.

In other words, it makes sense for the voter who likes Ken but has reservations to put him in the 'second choice' box, unless one is worried about the possibility of Norris getting more than half the first choice votes - in which case Ken will be your first choice...

If that makes any sense.
