Flame On -- I just downloaded the "Peace Mango" song for the first time, tonight.
I!!! LOVE!!! THIS!!!! SONG!!!!!
GOD, I love this song!!! So catchy. So much fun!! You're a great singer, great musicianship is displayed in this delightfully catchy tune!!! The middle section, the end section with the saavy talk-rap, the way the lyrics incorporate the 'program', aims, and philosophy of the servitor, the cleverness of it all, the wonderful sense of humor the song has in its spirit and vibe -- it's really fantastic.
What a great songwriter you are! I seriously (and I am not exaggerating here) played the song about 25 times -- IN A ROW. It was so catchy, so much sheer FUN, I was grinning from ear to ear, laughing out loud with delight, I just had to keep playing it. And each time (towards the very end, around songplay #20 or so) I kept saying to myself "OK, this'll be the last time I play it tonight....." But I just wanted to keep playing it!!
The e-card with the song incorporated into it was a brilliant idea. Was the idea of putting the sigil/graphic itself into the card ever discussed?
So what did I do, after falling madly in love with your terrific little composition/servitor? I sent it out to about 40 or so friends, writing a little introductory email to explain it (so it wouldn't be thought of or delted as a typically lame forward).
Long live the mango! I can't thank you enough for the joy you've brought to me in this hour of my life! I realize this sounds like hyperbole, but I'm not exaggerating and I'm not being sarcastic. I truly loved this song.
And someone mentioned thinking more about mangoes lately, and associating the mango with peace in your mind....this has been happening to me as well, days before I read the post where someone made this comment.
The "transducer/seduce ya'" rhyme...brilliant. The song is just brilliant! I'm going to play it a lot more.......but that will be tomorrow. For now, to quote STRANGER IN A STRANGE LAND (which I've just been reading for the first time), "Waiting is." |
