I can see it now.

Average demographic 15 year old flips on LOGO. After 3 minutes of unoriginal drek says "That's gay" and flips to a different station.

Market research at its finest.

I was wondering when Barbe would get around to discussing this. I met some of the people behind LOGO (original name OUTlet.. much clever-erer, imo) and what's really interesting to me is they're starting off with a quarter of their programming as Original Series.

I think that's a pretty risky thing to do for a Basic Cable channel in every major city in America (except Denver, so far) .. but it could work. It's not like there's any competition (Here TV isn't on cable, it's on satellite) and it could help shed more/better light on all those docus you've never seen.

They said a channel line-up would be available in July.

Yeah, I've heard no more of this. Seemed a dodgy idea to me, on a number of grounds, but perhaps more useful to isolated gay people living in rural areas, or whatever.
