I'm really desperate to read issue three of Ministry of Space. I want to see the nice pictures of the spaceships. the shop hasn't got it, low print runs blah blah, where might be good to get it? direct from image, or ebloodybay or something? anyone want to sell me theirs?

plus y'know if anyone's got hard-to-find issues they want help tracking why not use this thread for it? gwan then.

lots of fine comic shops do mail order - Abstract Sprockets in Norwich saw me through many hard times in comicshop-less territories. check out the directory of comic shops at the back of comics international and give a bit of a phone round to a few shops to see if you can pick up a copy.

Since you're in Britain, Page 45 in Nottingham is a really amazing comics store and does great mail order. It's worth ordering from them just to get the free catalogue, which will have you drooling over books you never even knew existed.

Check out their awesome website.

Man, I can't believe they didn't send me a ctalogue! Although, looking at my poor abused wallet, it's probably for the best.

Page 45 reviews Doom Patrol:

Doom Patrol #1 (£1-80) by John Byrne. Giving the most reactionary man in comics a title on which Grant Morrison performed such mischievous, marvellous and irreversible alchemy is like handing over the ULTIMATES to Stan The Nan Lee (sic). The results are inevitably going to be backwards. Don't believe me? Have a dose of dialogue:
"Omigosh!! RITA!"
"What in...?"
"We told you guys to stay with the flyer. Why..."
"Never mind that! What the heck is happening?"
Or how about:
"My audio detectors are picking up moaning...?"
"Oh no! Chief!!"
"More of those damn vampires!!"
"How did the get here? No one knows about this place except..."
"That was my doing, smart guy."
From the school of 1970. Perfect for 50-year-olds in nappies.
