Resources/Research - Angels: Paintings/Desciptions - Two Questions

There's an Idea in my head for an OGN, and I thought there must be people in the Barbelith crowd, who can answer the following two questions:

1) Where on the net can I find a page with old (like renaissance) paintings of angels? (For reference and digital manipulation.)

2) What would be helpfull information on the subject?
(I'm thinking of weird descriptions in the Bible, The Koran or the Torah; or anything else that has some 'authentisity', if you know what i mean.)

Thanx!

My last book, whilst not about angels per se, included a sizeable amount of angelic material, for which a massive wealth of research was done. Most of the material I have or can recommend covers the phenomenon of angelic influence, specifically in wartime, but I've got a fair amount on the angelic emanations of God as determined by the Kabbala, as well as historical examples of angel sightings.

I don't know how useful it will be to you, since it's fairly specific stuff, but if send me a PM with your specific requirements and I'll do my best to offload some material on you.

Images: This page has a metric shedload of angel paintings from various eras, mostly Renaissance and Pre-Raphelite.

Descriptions: The Wikipedia entry for Angel has a lot of info.
