He's a bloody good bloke, Harry

Or not. A few hours ago this was, trust me, incredibly funny. Now though, I do have to wonder. Feel free to exterminate, threadwise.

Alternatively, I suppose there could be some sort of expedition to go and see this film, just as long as it was the kind that gets derailed in the nearest boozer. on Sunday, perhaps, at 93 Feet East on Brick Lane.

Well, which day are you suggesting?

Our Lady Has Left the Building
10:34 / 30.05.04
Well, according to the Odeon website it doesn't open until tomorrow, so today would be a little tricky. (Tomorrow= opening for school's half-term week, which is clever)

I am going to see this film but only with loverz, not haterz.

Our Lady Has Left the Building

Well I thought the first film was crap and the second one a vast improvement, so I'm not a hater, how do you feel about Harry-ambivalence?

I'm a lover, not a fighter...

I'm up for going to see the film. I dunno about uncommitted persons, though, Flowers - you may have to undergo some arcane ritual to prove your sincerity... (I think I still have the packet of Every Flavour Beans which Anna de Logardiere gave me, might do the trick.)

I was going to suggest going to see this on a Sunday afternoon but then I realised kids film... uh uh. Late night showing anyone??

Undoubtedly the best plan by far... It will need to be planned carefully to avoid a) fractious children and b) hordes of bored teenagers. I therefore suggest we try and find a late showing as you suggest, in a cinema which isn't a huge multiplex (i.e. not the one at Islington, or any on Leicester Square... do you think they will have it on at the Curzon...)

I was just thinking about this!! What a great idea!! But when?!?

Indeed, a fabulous idea. I've only seen the first, not the second: it is absolutely essential I see that one first (I've read the books)? I'll probably be there anyhoo.

I can make it wednesday evening onwards as long as someone holds my hands when any Dementors come on screen. To be honest though I'd rather wait for next Sunday evening and beat any shrieking children into unconsciousness with my video camera.

I think they might be showing it at the Screen on Baker Street next week but doubt the latest showing will be particularly late. The benefit of the Islington Vue is an 11pm start.

Sorry to be an old grandma but what about a 9 o'clock showing? T^hat probably won't be full of kiddies and will work much much better for me as I have to get up real early...

Our Lady Has Left the Building

Yes, the other disadvantage of anything much later than 10pm is that the tube shuts down and you have to use sodding Night Buses of a distinctly unmystical variety or bastard taxi drivers.

Don't go. The Dementors are terrifying.

What about Islington Vue around 9PM? Ois there another tiem we can go?

Dude, I read the book...

Has everyone seen this? I dislike you all immensely.

This arrangement was just too slow and the film was calling to me. The posters on the buses were saying 'go to the cinema, see the moving staircases and the talking portraits'. And I did, and it was good.

Oh, woe, chiz, whinge, etc. Well, I can't go and see it on my own, and I refuse to wait until I can see it with my father.

Cherry? Are you still interested? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

I recall Central Park in fall
How you tore your dress, what a mess
I confess, that's not all
