Picked it up a few days ago. Liked it. Alexander captures a darker tone for the story than the film. And it works in its favour. He also does a decent Hugh Jackman which was a plus.
The story itself was a bit light but I can let it slide as a one-shot. It's set in the few hours after Wolverine kills Mr. Hyde but before he sets off for the Vatican. We get; weird occurance; Wolverine finds the source of said occurence; Wolverine kills it with chainsaw jusice. It's paper popcorn, but nice.
I could see myself buying this as an ongoing if it the writing were a bit tighter and more filling. There's a lot of silence from Wolverine throughout the comic, which fits with his loner badass I suppose, but it makes for an extremely quick read as there's no real incentive to stop and pour over the art for details.
