The nicest thing I can do is to send people "good healing vibes". I have mentioned before the Sending and Taking I have done. This practice allows me to focus on the recipient and thier ailment, breathe the pain or obstacle in, dissolve it and exhale healing white light on them.
I have done this alot and sometimes I see it's effect and other times it feels futile. I could never say I healed anyone because I believe they (the recipient) must want to heal or it doesn't work. Even when the mutual goal is subconcious the results are truly amazing. Recovery can be so quick or a situation turn out for the better it seems miraculous.

I hope everyone who is involved with the Peace Mango mentions that on thier list. So far, all those good intentions look like they are going to be worthwhile.

Aside from a general call to bless someone, I tried to use magic to grant a few specific people safe passage in automobiles for the rest of their lives.

I can't say whether it worked, but that seems to be the case in general. I've never been able to get definitive, positive, external results from magic

Whenever I see an old woman on the street I can't help but do a quick protection spell/call to the goddess to ensure her safety.

Especially if said woman has just been ignored by a bus driver.

I usedajic to aid my then fiance's job hunting and to make sure he was as aware of my love for him when we were on opposite sides of the country as when we were together. Oh and pumping healing energy into him makes him go to sleep in a minute or less, although I've never tried to do that when he's not ill and just being a pain. Tee Hee

I helped get my boyf a job a few years back but the last time I tried it didn't work

I've used magick to help people with various shit in their lives... sometimes I tell them, sometimes not... healy-type stuff which usually helps a little, exept if I'm angry with the person about something... the usual sort of thing we all do, in fact. Oh, and a lot of recent peacy stuff, which I may have to ease up on; I'm just cream-crackered, frankly.

The last one was a sigil I made for my parents, to give them a better health. Now, everyday they can, they go for walks in my neighbourhood, and they're working out Body Combat and Body Pump classes.

I've given healing sigils to my girlfriend too, but it's not so successfull than my parent's sigil... I'm beggining to believe all the sickness she has is in her mind, not her body.

And, for my ex-fiancée, I did a meditation to help her in her career. Well, now she works in a big multinational company in Chile, all the expenses paid by them, and she's single now...

Isn't magick incredible?

So, nicest thing I've ever done...

This mate of mine had her drink spiked by a couple of pathetic specimens of the human race in a pub in the town where I live. I assume it was GHB or some such shit, the guy involved being a lecherous looking wankjob. Anyway, he didn't get his leg over with my mate because, obviously not knowing his drugs, he hadn't figured on the drug reacting badly with the vast amount of alcohol she'd consumed.

The upshot of which was that I - in no greatly sober state myself - had to accompany my mate to hospital and use shamanic languaging techniques to talk her through this pretty insane, scary, near-death/near-madness-experience trip she was having as a result of the drug.

Which I'd rather not have to have done, but using what I know to save a friends' life and sanity does feel kinda good.

And as to the guys who spiked her drink...Well, what happened to them rightly belongs in impulsivelad's thread.

I'm pretty big on Balance. So whenever I create a batch of sigils I try to make half of them for me and half for people or causes I want to help (I always create many sigils at once in the same ritual, wait a while until I can't remember which is for what and then draw them at random to cast when I feel like it).

My latest efforts have been about helping a friend get some news from his girlfriend whose fundamentalist parents have sent back to their country of origin out of disapproval of their relation.

Probably my most succesful spell ever was for a very depressed, suicidal friend who could't handle being alone anymore. I cast for him to find a reason to enjoy life and to get him going. Three days later, through unusual circumstances, he met a girl who was, in everyone's eyes, the perfect match for him. They're still together three years later.

I also have a pretty close relationship with the spirit of my city, where we both try to help each other in different ways. So, following a news story last night, one of my next sigils will be about getting approval and funding for a project to expand and modernize Montreal's storm drain network so that heavy rain no longer cause sewage to overflow into the St-Lawrence river and pollute our shores.

I've done plenty of "healing" work, for what its worth. By that, I mean both the energy stuff to make something not physically
hurt for awhile and the more subtle psychological and spiritual proddings to help someone right themselves. Granted, sometimes I'm not exactly subtle. But then again, sometimes a hammer is the best tool for the job.

Its a great feeling, to know you've helped someone improve in some way. To me, its rather the point of it, beyond pure scientific exploration.

Sometimes I act as a human good luck charm. So when a friend's cell phone isn't working I come up next to my friend, rub the cell phone with my hands and hand it back. It works perfectly from then on.

Or when somebody looses something and I go into my good luck form and the lost thing is recovered almost instantly.
