Full report from the Vertigo panel here. Saving you the trouble, here's the relevant bit:

* Morrison's Doom Patrol will be collected. The first volume will be released in September and will feature a new cover by Brian Bolland and three pages never seen before. The second volume will be released in December and will include art from Morrison.

Incidentally, I tried to be good and post this in an older thread, but it's not showing up for some reason.

*Does 'rock'/horns of the beast hands*

I just bought a few back issues of this, but never mind. Shoorly Flex Mentallo cannot be far behind?

I wonder why they would be allowed to reprint the issues of Doom Patrol featuring Flex Mentallo and not the actual Flex Mentallo miniseries.

It's really at DC's own discretion, given that they won the court case.

Actually I'm slightly apprehensive that they'll collect the series right up until Flex's appearance and stop there...

So the first volume is the one they've already released twice but with the pages featuring The Brotherhood of Dada?

Still, yay!

Can they post those of us who bought the deficient previous printing the extra pages?

Woo-hoo! Buying these, I am.

Man, I hope that these sell well, because the issues that I most want collected are are the final 12 or so.

Sorry, but Doom Patrol was the series that made me realise comics kick botty. Therefore, I have to venture a small but significant WOO.
maybe a YAY
and a HOUPLA.

Rest assured that my shop wil be stocking this baby no matter how much head office reckon it's a non-mover. (btw Sebastian O got what amounted to a "not worth it" on our buying system.)

Do they mean three pages never seen before, or never reprinted before? Because a lot of people have seen the Brotherhood of Dada pages. And is the "art from Morrison" in the second volume something from the original issues? I don't remember that, and I don't have my copies on hand.

Apparently, the five missing pages (available on my website as mentioned above) will be restored, and there will be three additional never-before-seen pages.

"Some of Grant’s Doom Patrol run will be reprinted in Sept., starting with a rerelease of Crawling from the Wreckage (complete with three pages cut from the original reprinting) and then The Painting that Ate Paris, reprinting 26-34, and including some of Grant’s character sketches."
