I'm not sure if this should be in Switchboard or not but it seems out of place amongst the Iraq threads.

World Game Institute Website

Its a game kinda like workshop Risk for hippies It demonstrates how easy it would be to eradicate world hunger, illiteracy etc.

I want to play it so bad but its expensive and they appear not to operate in the UK.
I'd love to quiz anyone who'd had a chance to play about their experience though- anyone?

So no one here has ever played it? I thought with Wilsons enthusiasm for it at least one lith' would have played it......

Oh well, it was worth a shot.

I have a pipe dream that one day when I next visit the US I could band together with some people (perhaps some 'lithers?) and organise a game. It's expensive but if enough people join in it could be affordable. Certainly sounds like a experience worth having.

I'm fascinated. When I'm back in my own flat, with my broadband, I'm totally game. Right now, though, I'm in the Satanic Pit of Free Dial-Up Which Isn't.
