So after finding this little gem of my horror-movie-hungry childhood (a show that predates even Tracy Ullman and The Simpsons during FOX's early days), I'm suddenly hooked again on werewolves. WIth that in mind and because the lycanthrope is the most underappreciated monster in the history of monsterdom, I'm curious what everyone's favorite wolfman flick is and why.

And besides... zombies are so passeĀ“.

While I love werewolves, I find most werewolf movies to be fairly crapalicious.

The greatest looking werewolves you will ever see are to be found in Van Helsing.
If that doesn't count as a werewolf movie, then Dog Soldiers for the wolf design and Ginger Snaps for putting a slightly different slant on the werewolf myth.

Brotherhood of the Wolf!

Ok, so that might not technically count, but it still rocks out mighty and hard.

Are there any good werewolf movies? Its so hard to think of any beyond The Howling (which I actually liked, the first one anyway) and American Werewolf In Londn.

Jenny Agutter in a nurse outfit.
Griffin Dunne as a zombie.

Yes, American Werewolf in London is by far the best in my book.
