Bogeyman, from Rupert the Bear to Promethea, from Dennis
the Menace to Halo Jones, from Alan Moore to Andy Capp !
And MANY MORE.

have donated original art include Al Davison, Charlie
Adlard, Gary Northfield, Paul J Holden, Mike Collins,
Peter Gross, Mike Hawthorne, Dave Windett, Gary Spencer
Millidge, Trevor Hairsine, Len O´Grady, Adi Tantimedh,
and Hunt Emerson

forthcoming book about his career at The Beano), Bryan
Talbot, Chris Weston, Mike Carey, Rob Williams, Simon

Cool.

It will also include a homage to the old IPC character Toy Boy (from Whoopee and other UK anthologies) by MC Lentil and myself...

So has anyone else contributed to this?

Ooh, nice. Given that I STILL haven't read more than 10% of Comix 2000 it's good to know people are still going with anthologies.

Um, I did the Gideon Stargrave/Paradax/Mirkin the Mystic one. Gah, looking at it now I wish to Christ I’d spent more time on it. I’ve since tinkered a little bit with the original art so anyone who goes to the auction won’t think too badly of me, but I have a feeling it’s going to be severely embarrassing to be sat next to all this other cool stuff in the print version. Well, the Paradax is okay, I suppose. But I apologise in advance for anyone who sees my crack at Gideon Stargrave, it’s a bit wonky.

Hector, your St Swithins Day thing is beautiful. Ditto for your Desperate Dark Knight, Mr Fish. And I remember Toy Boy! Little chap with a quiff. I’m looking forward to seeing that.

Man, if I’d only thought to do Pongo Snodgrass...

no need to apologize, Bed.

I guess all of us wish our pieces looked/read better in one way or another after delivering them. now I can actually see some small things I might have done differently now, but being certain to have made the best possible at the time we worked on them is what counts. what I saw of your art is very good and you're safe, relax.

funny how most pieces related to Morrison are from Barbelithers. Craig Mcgill said his will be tied to the first chapter of Grant's biography he's been writing.

this will be a nice book.
