How restricted is "restricted view" at the Barbican Theatre (London)?

Can anyone help with this?
I'm trying to book tickets for The Black Rider. Unfortunately, the only seats I can afford are of the "restricted view" variety. I have the choice of the back row of the gallery (where I assume the "restricted" part simply refers to the massive distance from the stage) or the side bits (technical, I know) of the gallery or the upper circle where it curves.
Is anyone familiar with the Barbican? How bad would it be? In short, which ones do I go for?
I should add that there is little price difference between these - I just want the best view possible.

I just realised the potential for massive confusion in this topic, caused primarily by my assumption that you are all a) psychic or b) residents of London.
I should specify that I am referring to the Barbican Theatre in London.
And apologise for not making that very clear. At all.

Misty Laine, I don't know if you are booking online or not, but if you're not you might want to go through the process, since they have dynamic seating plans (showing available seats) on their site.

I've never sat in the sides, but I should imagine from what I recall of the theatre that your sight lines would be fairly fucked. Mind you, the back of the gallery affords a pretty poor view too.

Maybe you could try waiting until the day of the show and going for cancelled seats? Personally, I find nothing more frustrating than sitting in crap seats. Even at the cinema.

Thanks, olulabelle - I have already had a look at the seating plans, and they left me non the wiser in real terms. I'm sure that the seats aren't going to be great anyway, but sometimes you can find bargains (I have had some perfectly decent seats for cheap at the Leeds Grand, which would have looked crap on a seating plan) - perhaps wishful thinking in this case.
Would cancelled seats be cheaper than ordinary ones? Actually, that might not be a great idea as there are four of us going...
Gah. Should have booked sooner, right?
