I'm currently listening to "Mutant", the Throbbing Gristle remix album. Of course, "Hot on the Heels of Love" seems to be the most popular target, with Carl Craig, Simon Ratcliffe and (of course) CarterTutti having a go.
Though the CarterTutti "Hamburger Lady" is well worth a listen... not quite as scary as the original, but keeping all the best bits.
I need to give this another few listens, then I'll be back with more. Just thought TG fans might want some cheering up after the Re-TG cancellation. I know I certainly did.
(Oh, and the Two Lone Swordsmen mix of "United" has Weatherall making TG sound like Meat Beat Manifesto circa "99%". It's good.) |
