Worst: I hated that Middenface McNulty, whose Jock accent was both awful and unfunny, but topping even him was that appalling character in the early 90s version of Sam Spade Robohunter -- a gay robot or insect or something, an alien anyway, whose homosexuality was signified by
a) a peaked leather cap
b) a pink triangle badge
c) pink lipstick
d) the name "Ducky".
That this homophobic atrocity saw the light of day is, I think, a genuinely poor reflection on the writer, artist and editors involved. |
