I've heard about bales at Ann Arbor Hash-Bash, I've heard about cops taking it easy on potheads just for the day. I've heard a lot of stories, but I've never been and seen for myself.

On a side note, today is also the 5th anniversary of the Columbine massacre, Hitler's birthday, and that of comic genius Evan Dorkin.

For anyone who's as big a MiSTie as I am, BTW, Reefer Madness is being released onto DVD today with commentary by Mike Nelson, the second host of MST3K. I have got to get me a copy of that and blaze up to it.

I've done my bit of smoking today. Fortunately, an acid deal two years old finally yielded the actual goddam LSD and I'm tripping too.

Hash Bash. Yes. Started out as a protest, I think, and became an annual thing. The speaker this year (or maybe it was last year's...)was supposedly the man whose arrest intially sparked the protest that became Hash Bash. It's a fairly big deal up here in Michigan.
