First LSD trip - Hermes shows up. Huh.

This is very odd.

Hermes showed up on my IE Browser as a middle-aged slovakian woman, said something to me (in slovenian) and disappeared.

Synchronicities are piling up.

Sounds like you need to read up on Hermes and maybe do an invocation. Check out the Magus card in the Thoth tarot. The Slovakian car insurance just makes it stand out more, it's more unique.

brush up your information on the "other" Hermes, the egyptian "father of sorcerers".
I think Hermes is asking you to translate the Kybalion into Slavic languages.

He might just be fucking around with your head. But by all means give him a ring.

Am feeling much better able to analyse the experience now It was pretty intense, very enjoyable. I'm fairly sure I understand the significance of the event though I would welcome any other insights.

I had a dream about 2 months ago that Baphomet's conciousness got uploaded onto the Internet and that s/he had penetrated cyberspace. I can fully understand the Hermes connection. But car insurance - I'd meditate on the Chariot card. If you look around on the net there seems like there are interesting currents emenating from Eastern Europe, esp. Thelemically.

This is maybe a bit off the point, but I had a similar experience while travelling a few years ago. Basically, I dropped some acid on a beach in India ( well ok, it was in Goa, and yes I am a cliche, ) and towards the end of the experience encountered what seemed a very definite manifestation of Kali. And I say that as a bit of a skeptic when it comes to these things. Anyway, sure enough, the next three months were pretty much chaos - that sounds a bit flippant, but really, they were. So, er, pay attention to your LSD-related divine encounters is what I'm saying I guess - I'm sure you know this already, but they are important.

Although Kali... bloody typical. It could have been one of any number of benign deities in the Hindu pantheon, but ohhh no, it HAD to be Kali ( mutters quietly to self for the next ten minutes )
